Privacy policy

This notice describes the methods and purposes with which Studio Rimoldi processes the personal data (the “data”) of its Users (the “User”).

This notice is provided to Site Users also pursuant to and for the purposes of Article 13 of Legislative Decree 196/03 – Personal Data Protection Code (the “Privacy Code”).

This notice is provided only for the Site and for the processing carried out by Studio Rimoldi and does not extend to processing carried out by other data controllers of other websites that the User may visit via links, for which Studio Rimoldi accepts no responsibility.

Data controller

The data controller is Studio Rimoldi, with registered office at Via Giacomo Leopardi, 21, 20123 – Milan.

Types of data processed

Browsing data

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, in the course of their normal operation, certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.

This is information that is not collected in order to be associated with identified data subjects, but which by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, make it possible to identify users.

This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users connecting to the site, the addresses in URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the user’s operating system and computer environment.

These data are used solely to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check that it is working correctly, and are deleted immediately after processing. The data could be used to establish liability in the event of hypothetical computer crimes against the site: save for this eventuality, at present web contact data are not retained for more than seven days.

Data provided voluntarily by the user.

The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of e-mail to the addresses indicated on this site entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address, which is necessary to reply to requests, as well as any other personal data included in the message.

We will likewise acquire your e-mail address and your personal details (first name and surname) should you decide to subscribe to a monthly newsletter, for example “a recipe a month”. Without your data we would not be able to provide you with the service requested.

Specific summary notices will gradually be reported or displayed on the pages of the site intended for particular on-demand services.

Cookies

No personal data of users is acquired by the site in this respect.

Cookies are not used for the transmission of personal information, nor are so-called persistent cookies of any kind, or user tracking systems, used.

The use of so-called session cookies (which are not stored persistently on the user’s computer and disappear when the browser is closed) is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) necessary to allow safe and efficient exploration of the site.

The so-called session cookies used on this site avoid the need for other computer techniques that are potentially prejudicial to the confidentiality of users’ browsing and do not allow the acquisition of personal data identifying the user.

Scope of communication of data

The data provided by the User, including those provided voluntarily (e.g. e-mail), will be processed and communicated, including with the aid of electronic or otherwise automated means, by Studio Rimoldi staff, appointed as persons in charge of processing, and/or through persons designated by it and/or by third-party companies, whether or not belonging to the same Group, for purposes connected with the services requested by the User and for statistical purposes. These persons will process the data as independent data controllers or as data processors appointed by Studio Rimoldi. The list of persons and entities to whom the data may be communicated can be requested by the User at the following address Alberto.Rimoldi@Studio-Rimoldi.com

Methods of processing

Personal data are processed with automated tools for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected.

Specific security measures are observed to prevent data loss, unlawful or incorrect use and unauthorised access.

Optional nature of the provision of data

Apart from what is specified for browsing data, the user is free to provide the personal data shown in the request forms to the Garante or otherwise indicated in contacts with the Office in order to request the sending of the newsletter, informational material or other communications.

Failure to provide them may make it impossible to obtain what was requested.

Security

The Site has adequate logical, physical and organisational precautions in place to protect the personal data being processed against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss or destruction, or against disclosure or unauthorised access. Studio Rimoldi will continue to maintain and improve these measures over time, in line with legal and technological developments.

Rights of data subjects Persons to whom the personal data refer have the right at any time to obtain confirmation of whether or not such data exist and to know their content and origin, to verify their accuracy or request their supplementation or updating, or rectification (art. 7 of Legislative Decree 196/2003)

Under the same article, there is the right to request the deletion, anonymisation or blocking of data processed in breach of the law, as well as to object, in any case, on legitimate grounds, to their processing. Requests should be addressed: by e-mail, to the address: Alberto.Rimoldi@Studio-Rimoldi.com, by fax: (+39) 02.4800.8298 or by post, to the Data Controller (Titolare) Dott. Alberto Rimoldi.
